Principal

Hello Hampton Moreno Dugat Trojans,

 I am honored and privileged to be the Principal of Hampton Moreno Dugat E.C. Campus.  My focused intention is to provide commitment, collaboration, and trustworthiness in order to ensure the most effective learning environment for our children.  Before I make any decisions at H.M.D., I pledge to ask myself “Is this what is best for the students?”  I will also expect all staff to consider this question in all endeavors.  With this thought always on our minds and in our hearts, we will Inspire Bold Innovative Leaders.
 

I have been in education for over 20 years.  Through these years I have worked in many assignments including teacher, curriculum consultant, secondary assistant principal, interim superintendent and Principal.  During each of these assignments, I gained valuable knowledge that has helped me understand the many realms of public education.  However, 20 years later, my favorite experiences as an educator were while I was directly working with students.   It is with great anticipation that we begin 2020-21; and I am absolutely thrilled to begin a new school year with you.

Your opinions, ideas, and overall understanding of school district policies are important to the educational process.  Along with putting our students first, I assure you that excellence will remain the ultimate focus in H.M.D. Country.  I want to also continue the open door relationship you have come to know, so please feel free to call me with any ideas, or questions you may have.  I look forward to serving our Beeville school district and the people that make Beeville an amazing place to learn.
